[REPOST from EarthCorps]
Join us for the Polar Plunge on December 6th from 10am-12pm at Matthews Beach. We will be plunging into Lake Washington to raise awareness for climate change on International Climate Action Day. Events will be held all over the nation and the world. Come out and help us show world leaders that Seattle wants meaningful action taken to curb climate change!
Attend the event to learn about action you can take with local non-profits and mingle with international participants of EarthCorps to learn about how climate change affects other countries. Benefits will go to EarthCorps and Steven Kazlowski, a professional photographer whose work documenting polar bears is on display at the Burke Museum.
