Seattle grunge

Seattle, having served as the backdrop for the grunge era, is the perfect setting for a runway show featuring ensembles made from trash. Haute Trash, a group of artists who produce recycled-fashion shows, will be kicking off the Shoreline SolarFest on Friday July 18th, at 7 p.m.. If you missed Haute Trash’s appearance at the sold out Restore Art and Fashion show in April, this is your chance to check out their inspiring creations.

After the fashion show, the Shoreline SolarFest will be hosting a silent auction to support the Shoreline Solar Project. The next day there will be a fair from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.. The Solar Project was founded in 2004 to promote renewable energy and environmentally sustainable practices. The annual SolarFest is the largest renewable energy event in the Puget Sound area!
